With a three year growth of more than 540 percent, AVIAN has been ranked as one of America’s fastest growing companies for the third consecutive year by Inc. magazine’s exclusive list, the Inc. 500|5000.
Ranked No. 660, AVIAN joins the nation’s fastest-growing private companies at the sixth annual compilation, which represents a comprehensive look at the entrepreneurs who are considered driving forces of the American economy.
AVIAN was among 5,000 government contractors and commercial businesses such as Yelp, yogurt maker Chobani, and Giftcards.com to be recognized on this list. Of the companies operating in the government services industry, AVIAN ranked No. 51 of the 262 recognized.
“AVIAN’s record of excellence and growth is the direct result of our dedicated workforce,” said Adam Jones, Vice President of Corporate Services. “The innovative business solutions our employees provide are a catalyst for company growth and prosperity, something I am thankful for in this difficult economy.”
The median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent despite a stagnant economic environment. The companies on this year’s list report having created more than 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.
Founded in 2005, AVIAN has grown from a team of five to the 86 employees currently located around the country.
“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500|5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward,” said Inc. Editor, Eric Schurenberg. “Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is.”
