Despite furloughs and debt ceiling debates, AVIAN LLC remains committed to providing its workforce with robust benefit packages and employee-valued financial guidance.

According to a June 2013 Glassdoor Employment Confidence Survey of more than 2,000 full-time or part-time employed U.S. residents, healthcare coverage and retirement plans/401(k)s are the top two workplace benefits offered. Recognizing what employees value, AVIAN’s partnership with Keystone Benefit Group and Edward Jones Investments has never been stronger.
“Several years ago AVIAN made the decision to partner with two extremely talented organizations for retirement planning and healthcare coverage benefits,” said Jeff Danielson, AVIAN LLC’s vice president of corporate services. “Their support over the years has been nothing but first-rate and continues to wow us each day.”
Providing AVIAN with retirement planning and 401(k) guidance, Edward Jones’ Hollywood, Md. branch is ranked number one in the country for client satisfaction out of approximately 13,000 branch offices. This is a result of anonymous phone surveys by JD Power and Associates of Edward Jones clients.

The survey identified Financial Advisor Edward Turbush, and Branch Office Administrators Carrie Kelly and Lynn Taylor as providing some of the most exemplary client service within the firm. Kelly and Taylor were also recognized earlier this year as two of the top 350 branch office administrators in the firm.

The Edward Jones Lexington Park branch has also ranked number one in the state of Maryland for the past four years.
“We feel very blessed to be able to work with all the great people at AVIAN,” Turbush said.

Keystone Benefit Group, specializing in employee benefits, human resources management and risk management, helps AVIAN better understand, effectively implement and manage employee benefit solutions through an in depth consulting process.

Keystone’s Managing Partner for Employee Benefits, Mike deVaux is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and former U.S. Navy F/A-18C pilot who continues to serve as a commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Supported by Managing Director of Property and Casualty, Gail Larson, deVaux understands the challenges that come with government contracts and federal agency service providers and caters to AVIAN’s specific needs.

deVaux is a designated Registered Health Underwriting and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant and has been instrumental in helping AVIAN navigate the challenging landscape of benefits after the Affordable Care Act.

“They are truly considered a part of our team and have fully integrated to become an extension of our Human Resources Department,” said Kelly J. Perry, AVIAN LLC’s director of human resources. “They work diligently to provide not only solutions that support our growth, but also personal connections that are uncommon in business today.”
